These rules explain responsible use of the website, map and bot without confusing Meu Recife with a public authority, emergency service or professional adviser.

Meu Recife · 2026
Operational draft · legal validation and formal identification of the responsible party are required before it becomes a definitive contractual term.
This document does not waive mandatory consumer rights or limit liability where Brazilian law does not permit that limitation. It is not legal advice.
Nature of the service
Meu Recife brings together news, official data, events, cinema, tides, maps, schools, places, classifieds and general guidance. It is an independent editorial and technology project; it does not represent the municipality, state, federal government, a school, cinema or listed business.
Operational information changes. Before paying, travelling, enrolling, signing or filing a document, confirm price, hours, availability, licence and requirements with the responsible official source.
In an emergency, use the appropriate public emergency channel. The portal does not monitor calls for help.
Account and Telegram access
Personalised features may use an identity validated by Telegram. Protect your device and account, never share codes and close unknown sessions in Telegram.
Actions from an authenticated session may be associated with the account. Use the operational channel if you suspect misuse; never send a password or code as evidence.
Editorial content and external sources
A summary or translation does not replace the original document or article. Where possible, the portal shows the source, verification date and data status. Rights in external texts, marks, images, maps and services remain with their owners.
An external link is provided for verification or action. Availability, payment, security and policy at the destination belong to the external service.
User submissions
Anyone submitting a comment, report, listing, photograph or profile represents that they have the right to do so and is responsible for accuracy. Submission gives the portal non-exclusive permission to store, display, format, translate and moderate it only to operate and promote the chosen feature.
Do not publish another person’s data, protected material without permission, a misleading price, fabricated review, false identity or contact details without consent. Remove unnecessary personal data before submission.
Prohibited use
Do not break into the service, bypass limits, automate abuse, scrape personal profiles, introduce malicious code, falsify metrics, impersonate another person or use the service for unlawful activity.
threats, harassment, discrimination or disclosure of personal data;
fraud, unlawful goods, sexual exploitation or child-abuse material;
spam, fabricated reviews, coordinated manipulation or disguised advertising;
dangerous instructions presented as individual professional advice.
Moderation and availability
The portal may label, limit, hide or remove content that breaches the rules, preserve minimum evidence for review and restrict repeated abuse. Decisions should be proportionate, documented and open to review when safe and possible.
The service may change, become temporarily unavailable or remove a broken source. Continuous availability is not promised, but relevant failures should be monitored and corrected transparently.
Advertising, bookings and external payments
Sponsored content must be labelled and separated from editorial conclusions. A paid profile does not buy a score, organic placement or removal of legitimate criticism.
When a booking or purchase occurs on an external site, the contract and payment are with the named provider. Check the cancellation policy, final price and seller identity.
Corrections and changes to these rules
Factual errors may be corrected with a note when the change is material. A relevant change to these rules should receive a new date and clear explanation; a final policy should not silently turn old data towards an incompatible purpose.
Brazilian law applies where relevant. Nothing on this page replaces statutory rights or selects a venue before the responsible party has been formally identified and legally reviewed.
