Before Paying: Seven Checks for Any Event

How to use Meu Recife without confusing discovery with confirmation: organiser, date, address, ticket, age rating, cancellation and accessibility.

01

Discovery is not confirmation

The agenda combines municipal sources, cultural venues and ticket platforms. It helps discover options, but the final decision belongs on the responsible event page. Check that title, city, date and venue appear together; a national card can look local when a filter fails.

Before paying, verify organiser, full address, doors time, concession policy, fees, rating, accessibility and cancellation. “From R$” is not a final total. Free admission may require registration. An image does not prove availability.

02

Visible state and provenance

Meu Recife labels automatic translation, artwork origin and source state. A degraded or cached feed must say so before the list. External posters identify an event and remain linked to the organiser page.

Keep the receipt and seller support channel. If details conflict, the official ticket office governs payment; the portal records a correction rather than silently erasing history.

Editorial method reviewed on 28 July 2026. Individual terms belong to the organiser and require confirmation for every purchase.

03

Check 1. Who is responsible

Identify the organiser, venue and ticket seller; they may be different entities. A profile with polished artwork but no verifiable site, history or contact is insufficient. Compare the organiser’s name on the announcement, checkout and refund terms. Stop if payment is requested to an individual account without confirmation from the official channel.

A city listing supports discovery but does not become the seller. Meu Recife leads to the original listing and never collects bank-card details in an editorial form.

04

Check 2. Where and when

A venue name without city and full address is not enough. Similar names exist in other states and tour cards may appear without a local filter. Open the address on a map, compare it with the venue site and check date, year, doors and actual start. A post-midnight session may belong to the next calendar day.

Plan the return. Transport, parking and access after a late event differ from daytime. A temporary stage needs a current entrance point, not an old geotag.

05

Check 3. What the price includes

Proceed to the final step before payment and compare face value, service fee, sector, insurance and add-ons. Do not confirm when the total changes without explanation. Concession tickets require evidence; a “social” ticket can include a donation condition stated by the seller.

Keep the currency explicit: R$ means Brazilian reais, not an icon. For free admission, check registration, ticket, QR code, identification and arrival time.

06

Check 4. Age, language and accessibility

An age rating is a published restriction, not the portal’s opinion. Check accompaniment and documents for a child. For a film, performance or tour, verify language, subtitles, Libras, audio description and duration; a foreign title does not reveal its soundtrack.

“Accessible venue” is too broad. Look for the entrance, lift, toilet, wheelchair place, seated breaks and assistance contact. Ask before paying when the organiser omits detail.

07

Check 5. Cancellation, postponement and refund

Read the seller’s conditions before purchase and save them with the receipt. Understand changes of date, venue or artist and weather cancellation. Rules can depend on sales channel; a portal cannot promise another company’s refund.

Use the support address in the original order. Never send a QR code to an unknown person claiming to help, because it may grant ticket access.

08

Check 6. Is the page authentic?

Check the domain, profile spelling, publication history and link from the venue’s official channel. Fake pages copy images and comments. An aggressive timer, request to move into private messages or an implausibly low price calls for a pause.

Enter through the institution’s site or verified profile, not a message advert. Do not provide CPF, identification or card data on an unchecked address.

09

Check 7. Build a final trip card

Before paying, write one line: organiser, venue, full address, date, doors, start, language, sector, quantity and total in R$. Afterwards add order number, support channel and return plan. This compact check exposes conflicts better than rereading the poster.

Open the source again on the day. Rain, access, transport and entry requirements can change after purchase. If information conflicts, confirm with the responsible party instead of guessing.

10

When buying for someone else

Ticket name, identification, concession and transfer rules may matter. Before buying several, check whether the participant can change and whether the purchaser must attend. Foreign visitors should confirm accepted identification and whether checkout truly requires a CPF.

Do not leave a QR code in a shared album or chat because a copy may be scanned first. Use an official transfer function where available. The portal cannot verify an unknown reseller or guarantee a person-to-person sale.
